Shipping is the most common mode of transportation in international logistics. What's the difference between American shipping FBA and ordinary shipping?
First of all, FBA shipping is to send goods to Amazon warehouse by sea.
American shipping FBA provides two modes: Shipping acceleration (shipping + Express) and shipping plus truck (shipping + truck).
1. FBA shipping acceleration (shipping + Express): it supports double tax clearance. After the goods arrive at the port and are cleared, they will be sent to Amazon warehouse by express.
2. Ocean transportation plus truck transportation: Double clearing does not include tax, and the tariff is paid according to the tax bill. After the goods arrive at the port and are cleared, they are transported to the destination by train, and then sent to the corresponding Amazon warehouse by truck.
If we compare the differences between the two kinds of shipping, we can distinguish them from the following aspects:
FBA shipping is not a simple warehousing and delivery, it includes FBA order pre-sale, after-sale, return and exchange services, and the transportation process of goods from the factory to the destination Amazon warehouse, which also includes customs clearance, prepaid customs duties and other services.
General shipping in the warehouse, in China, is the customer selected freight forwarding company's warehouse, or the freight forwarding company and others shared warehouse, may also be the freight forwarding company rented warehouse.
Amazon shipping is a special warehouse for Amazon (both at home and abroad).
In fact, in a sense, if Amazon is also regarded as a freight forwarding company, then Amazon warehouse is also equivalent to the warehouse of the freight forwarding company itself, but we think Amazon is more famous and reliable.
From the perspective of customers, the scope of general shipping is relatively wide. General carriers can be Amazon sellers, other business service customers or general Chinese citizens. This is the difference between ordinary shipping and US Shipping FBA.
